Stokes checks a leg kick. McVicker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. McVicker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. McVicker takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Bostic throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bostic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stokes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bostic as he jumps to the side. Stokes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A combination from De Pain does no damage. Stokes half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. De Pain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Stokes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. De Pain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stokes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. De Pain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
