#R1# Slytherin dips to his left and cracks Gruber with an uppercut! Slytherin catches Gruber with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#CUT#It looks like Andreas Gruber has been cut. Gruber shoots in for a takedown but Slytherin shows good takedown defense. An attempted straight right counter from Slytherin misses the target. Gruber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slytherin's waist but Slytherin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gruber off to one side. Slytherin lands a nice looking body shot.
Slytherin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Slytherin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gruber uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slytherin.
Nice takedown defense from Slytherin. No joy for Gruber on that attempt. Simon Slytherin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Gruber. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slytherin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Slytherin stuns Gruber with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gruber keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#T1# Slytherin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Slytherin getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Gruber fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gruber shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slytherin defends it nicely. Slytherin scores with a hook.#T2# Slytherin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gruber's head backwards. Slytherin getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Gruber shoots in looking for a takedown but Slytherin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gruber's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gruber on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Slytherin throws a right hand that Gruber ducks under and follows up with a left that Gruber also avoids with ease. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jab from Slytherin. Slytherin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gruber on the side of the head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gruber is defended easily by Slytherin.#T3# Slytherin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gruber under the eye. Gruber attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Slytherin misses with a wild body shot. Slytherin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Slytherin stalks Gruber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gruber's face. Gruber staggers backwards, shaken. Simon Slytherin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gruber is defended easily by Slytherin.#T4# Slytherin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gruber. Gruber checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Gruber is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've been informed that Gruber has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Slytherin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gruber. Slytherin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slytherin wants it to stay on the feet. Gruber drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.#CUT#That has opened up Andreas Gruber's cut even more. A shot to the liver by Slytherin. Beautiful body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slytherin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A decent looking cross lands there for Slytherin. Simon Slytherin is winning the standup battle so far. Slytherin looks to throw the jab but Gruber is out of range. Slytherin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gruber can do to turn this around? Gruber gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slytherin. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Gruber might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Slytherin has got the better of the exchanges. Gruber thows a leg kick but Slytherin checks it and Slytherin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A head kick misses from Gruber. Slytherin feinted there with a counter leg kick. Slytherin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
#CUT#The cut above Andreas Gruber's eye is starting to cause him problems now. A lazy left from Slytherin finds it's target. Gruber fails with a takedown attempt. Slytherin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#T2# Slytherin lands the left hand. Andreas Gruber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gruber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slytherin is fending him off so far but Gruber persists. Nope, Slytherin circles away and we're back to standing. Slytherin scores with a jab.#ROC#Gruber is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gruber tries to bum rush Slytherin with a series of wild strikes but Slytherin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slytherin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#CUT#Andreas Gruber's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Gruber fails with the takedown and Slytherin counters with a straight right hand. Gruber is still on wobbly legs! Can Slytherin finish him? Simon Slytherin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Gruber. Gruber tries for a takedown but Slytherin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gruber seems to have recovered his senses. Slytherin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#T3# Gruber has his takedown stuffed and Slytherin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

As Simon Slytherin got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: My opponent was no match for me, I have the best power in this organization. Keep lining them up and I'll knock'em out.'. |

#R1# Gruber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cudlitz tries to avoid it but Gruber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cudlitz to the ground. Cudlitz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cudlitz tries to counter with a takedown but Gruber is quick to defend against it. Gruber tries to clinch but fails miserably #TD# and Cudlitz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cudlitz. Cudlitz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gruber looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cudlitz puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cudlitz in particular looking to stall. Gruber wants to get back to his feet. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cudlitz wants to free his trapped foot but Gruber is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gruber is trying to stand up here but Cudlitz is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cudlitz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cudlitz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.#T1# The referee warns Gruber that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cudlitz content just to control the position here. Gruber tries to lock up and control but Cudlitz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. BOOM! Cudlitz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cudlitz avoids the attempt from Gruber to control. Cudlitz in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gruber trying to control but not successfully. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
