Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#BC2#

Norris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Skoda misses with a takedown attempt - Norris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Norris misses its target.
Skoda takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Skoda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Skoda does no damage.
Norris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Norris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skoda was well out of range. Poor timing from Norris.
Skoda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Norris defends well and Skoda ends up having to push Norris into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bam Norris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Skoda.
Norris fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Skoda is out of range.

Norris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Skoda is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Norris dives into side control.

Norris is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Skoda to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Skoda shrugs it off.

Norris jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Skoda manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Check out the look on Norris's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Skoda pushes Norris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Norris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bam Norris decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
