The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Dirt leaves Kuningas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Horrible takedown attempt by Kuningas or perhaps it was just good defense by Dirt, which made it look bad. Kuningas misses with a takedown #CL# and Dirt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Joe Dirt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
