Tate scores with a hook to the body. Dominguez is trying to break free. Tate is trying to push Dominguez away but Dominguez has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Dominguez working hard to break the clinch. Tate scores with a nice hook to the head. Dominguez tries to break free but Tate pushes him back against the ropes.#BC# Dominguez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dominguez wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dominguez takes a swing at Tate's ribcage but misses. Dominguez scores with a jab to the body. Tate connects with the punch.#T1# Tate throws a switch kick that catches Dominguez on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Dominguez looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Dominguez flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Dominick Dominguez was interviewed post fight and said 'today it didnt go as expected, but im going to keep training results will come ...soon'. |

Tate manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tate steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Borisov. Borisov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tate throws a quick counter kick to the body but Borisov avoids it. Tate throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Borisov tries to close the distance and clinch but Tate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A big right from Borisov misses. Tate gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This has been an exciting period of action! Borisov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tate throws a sloppy head kick and Borisov moves out of range easily. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Tate steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Borisov. Borisov misses with an uppercut. Tate throws a hook but Borisov avoids it easily. Borisov cracks Tate with a good jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Borisov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tate momentarily.

Drew Tate decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
