We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dewire has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Fixit missing with knees to the body.

Jimmy Fixit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Devan throws a hook to the side of Fixit's head but Fixit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sloppy strikes from Devan. Those never looked like landing. #CL# Fixit moves into the clinch. Fixit misses with an elbow over the top. Devan's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Devan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fixit wants a takedown but no success here.
