and Borisov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Borisov cracks Liondoom on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Liondoom falls backwards against the cage. Borisov follows up with more strikes that drop Liondoom to his knees. Borisov keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Liondoom! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Borisov!

Borisov drops Liondoom with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Liondoom looks back up at him and smiles so Borisov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Liondoom blocks a jab.
Borisov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liondoom. #TD#
Liondoom fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Borisov to the ground. Liondoom is now in Borisov's guard.
Borisov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Liondoom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Borisov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Liondoom cranks the arm and Borisov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Borisov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
