Ulysses Corbin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corbin throws a lazy right hand but Watson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kersikov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A countering left hand to the body from Kersikov misses. Corbin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#TD# Kersikov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Corbin to score an easy takedown into full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kersikov keeping moving, preventing Corbin from controlling successfully. Kersikov is trying to control the position but Corbin postures up. Corbin won't allow Kersikov to sweep him here. Murphy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Corbin up against the cage. Corbin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nog leaves Corbin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. It looked like Nog wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Corbin shoots for a takedown but Nog saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nog tries to work over Corbin's front leg with a kick but Corbin checks it. Corbin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nog defends it well. Nog gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Corbin swings widly with a right hand
