#R1# Mack looks to land a body kick but Lewis moved away. Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mack throws a solid leg kick but Lewis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mack.#CL2# Lewis moves into the clinch. Mack misses with a knee strike.

Mack with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lewis is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mack is keeping busy. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Both fighters working to control the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mack walks away with a smile on his face. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mack fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lewis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Lewis. Mack is not content to let Lewis control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Mack wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mack prevents Lewis from improving position. Lewis wants to control but Mack is keeping him busy. Mack pushes Lewis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lewis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lewis looking to control but instead Mack has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Mack wants to get back to his feet.

Mack throws a sloppy head kick and Lewis moves out of range easily. Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense. Christy Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lanky Lewis. Mack throws a front kick that sends Lewis stumbling back into the cage. Lewis stuffs the takedown. Mack is breathing heavily. Lewis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lewis somewhat.#T4# Mack slaps away a takedown attempt from Lewis, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mack fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lewis just manages to avoid it. Mack throws a leg kick that is checked#TD2# so Lewis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#ES# Mack uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mack turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Mack sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mack fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mack shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#CL2# Lewis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lewis avoiding damage as Mack throws knees to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Christy Mack will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2# Lewis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mack if he has to take too many more of those.

This has been an exciting period of action! Lewis throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lewis is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mack will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mack wants to get back to his feet. Lewis controlling from side mount. Lewis has knee on belly momentarily but Mack bucks him off and regains half guard. That'll leave a bruise.#T3# Lewis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mack tries to avoid it but Lewis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mack to the ground. Mack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mack throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mack is not in a great position here, taking some shots. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mack scores with a kick to the midsection. A solid leg kick lands there for Mack.
Christy Mack is winning the standup battle so far.#TD2# Lewis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mack to the ground. Lewis is now in Mack's guard. Mack has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lewis off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. An inside leg kick lands from Mack. Lewis checks a leg kick. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lewis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lewis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.#CL2# Lewis clinches up with Mack and pushes him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mack tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lewis avoids it. Mack wants to stand and escape but instead Lewis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB# Lewis wants to pass the guard but Mack is keeping the position. Lewis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lewis trying to control but Mack is working from the bottom. #T3##ES# Mack manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Mack putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lewis in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Lewis is trying to drag Mack to the mat but Mack just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Christy Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lanky Lewis. Mack tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lewis avoids it. Lewis tries to circle away but Mack has him pinned against the cage. Mack crunches a lovely knee into Lewis's ribcage. Mack misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lewis.

Lewis's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.#TD2# Lewis pulls guard effortlessly. #SU# Mack gets to his feet - Lewis follows without any prompting. Lewis checks a low kick from Mack. Horrible takedown attempt by Lewis or perhaps it was just good defense by Mack, which made it look bad. Mack chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mack goes for a double leg but Lewis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lewis continues to drive forward. Lanky Lewis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christy Mack is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lewis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mack's face.
And that's the end of the fight! Christy Mack showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mack has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Scott is looking to clinch but Lewis is avoiding it.
Lewis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lewis wants it to stay on the feet.#TD# Lewis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lewis sitting and controlling from the half guard. Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lewis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to control the action here but instead Lewis manages to pass to full mount! Lewis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #T1# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis lands a couple of good shots and Scott has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Lewis punishes Scott with strikes from the back mount. Lewis is riding his opponent, not letting Scott buck him off.
