#R1# Nice jab there from Dillinger . Dillinger lands a jab. Dillinger keeps the fight on the outside.#CL# White fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dillinger , pushing him back against the cage. White tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
#BC2# Dillinger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dillinger throws a jab but it's blocked by White. Dillinger misses the jab. White shoots in for a takedown but Dillinger shows good takedown defense. Dillinger is clearly trying to counter these attacks from White with a body shot. White throws a right hand that Dillinger ducks under and follows up with a left that Dillinger also avoids with ease. White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dillinger .
No luck with that takedown attempt from White. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry White. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White closes the distance and clinches up with Dillinger , looking for a takedown. White pushes Dillinger against the cage but Dillinger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A jab lands there for Dillinger .#T1# Dillinger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A jab lands there for Dillinger . Fred Dillinger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. White bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Dillinger backs away, White returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Dillinger throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it. White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillinger is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Dillinger circles away and we're back to standing. Dillinger misses with a straight left. Dillinger connects with a looping right hand.
Fred Dillinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. White moves in looking to clinch but Dillinger pushes him off. Jab by Dillinger . White ducks under a wild hook from Dillinger . Dillinger getting the better of the striking in that exchange. White throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dillinger . White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dillinger lands a jab. White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dillinger swats him away and circles back towards the center. #T2# White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Dillinger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Dillinger moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. White throws a leg kick that misses. White ducks under a wild hook from Dillinger . White shoots for a double leg takedown but Dillinger sprawls well. He's pushed White's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. White is breathing heavily. Dillinger blocks a head kick by White.

White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dillinger as he avoids it easily. Dillinger connects with a looping right hand.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dillinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dillinger throws a jab but it's blocked by White. Dillinger throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dillinger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White. #T3# Dillinger misses with a looping left. White drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dillinger sprawls and moves away. Dillinger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively. Dillinger smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Dillinger scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. White misses with a series of wild punches.
Dillinger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dillinger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd cheers as Dillinger lands an impressive looking overhand right. White doesn't seem phased though. White throws a lazy head kick and Dillinger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dillinger keeps the fight on the outside. White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dillinger 's waist but Dillinger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side. Nice defenses there by Dillinger . Jab, jab by Dillinger - just one landing. #T4# The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice uppercut lands for Dillinger . That snapped White's head back.
White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dillinger . White throws a big counter combination but Dillinger scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. A jab from Dillinger does it's job there.#ROC2#White is rocked! White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dillinger to score with a decent uppercut. Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! White gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! White tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Dillinger is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and White buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves White!! White is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Dillinger throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Dillinger ! Fred Dillinger decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. |
