#SUB# Draught is looking for a kimura but El Shaarawy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Draught to get the leverage. #SUB# Draught is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
#SUB# Draught is sneakily working for an arm triangle but El Shaarawy sees it coming and defends easily.#SUB2# El Shaarawy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Draught pulls his head out easily. El Shaarawy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Draught. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Draught is working for a kimura but El Shaarawy is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Shaarawy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1##SUB# Draught is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, El Shaarawy has managed to free his arm - good work. El Shaarawy is holding on to half guard well. Draught looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. El Shaarawy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Draught's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Draught's back! El Shaarawy trying to control momentarily.
Draught tries to escape but El Shaarawy has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Draught could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T2# Draught wants to control his opponent's hands but El Shaarawy gets his hands free. #SUB2# El Shaarawy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Draught knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Draught for a finish. Draught looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.#SUB2# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. El Shaarawy patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Will El Shaarawy go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
El Shaarawy has the hooks in. Draught is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. El Shaarawy controls the action. Draught avoids the strikes from El Shaarawy. El Shaarawy is not going to allow Draught to sit and survive in this position. Draught tries to escape but El Shaarawy has the hooks in and won't let him break free. #T3# El Shaarawy is looking to control Draught but Draught is wriggling around and keeping busy. Draught tries to escape the position.
El Shaarawy is trying to stick to Draught's back but Draught is turning into El Shaarawy. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in El Shaarawy's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Draught. Draught wants to control from the top but El Shaarawy keeps moving. El Shaarawy wants to stand and escape but Draught is having none of it. Draught pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. El Shaarawy is keeping the position for now. Draught not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #T4# Draught postures up in El Shaarawy's guard and throws a big left but El Shaarawy blocks it. Draught wants to control from the top but El Shaarawy keeps moving. El Shaarawy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Draught passes into half guard. Draught prevents El Shaarawy from improving his position. Draught seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but El Shaarawy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. El Shaarawy misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Draught content to control rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carlton Draught will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.#R2##TD# El Shaarawy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. El Shaarawy has a closed guard, preventing Draught from standing up. Draught slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Draught wants to stand up but El Shaarawy has a hold of him and won't allow it. El Shaarawy is trying to control but can't.

Draught is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that El Shaarawy can do to turn this around? El Shaarawy won't allow Draught to pass to mount. Draught prevents El Shaarawy from standing back up.

#SUB# Draught is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so El Shaarawy is just riding it out for now. Draught eventually gives up the hold. El Shaarawy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Draught is working away from the top position though.#SUB# El Shaarawy is kicking away at Draught from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Draught grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with El Shaarawy trying to push Draught off... El Shaarawy taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
