This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Hank Robinson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Bobby Daller! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Daller, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Daller against the cage but Daller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Robinson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Robinson shoots in and drives through. Daller sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hank Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Daller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD2# Daller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Robinson did well to prevent Daller getting side control. Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Daller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nutz defends it nicely. And Nutz tries to counter it with a takedown but Daller pushes his down on his head and steps out.#TD# Daller feints and as Nutz raises his hands in defense, Daller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Daller tries to free his leg and advance position but Nutz is retaining full guard. Nutz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nutz refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Nutz's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

#R1# Daller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Edawards. And Edawards tries to counter it with a takedown but Daller pushes his down on his head and steps out. Edawards dodges the punch combination from Daller.
Edawards drops his hands momentarily and Daller takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Edawards keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Edawards tries to counter with a clinch but Daller shakes him off and moves away. Edawards looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daller is fending him off so far but Edawards persists. Nope, Daller circles away and we're back to standing. Daller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
#TD2# Edawards scores with a takedown into Daller's guard. Daller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Edawards's corner is telling him to maintain position. Daller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daller tries to get out of the position. Daller trying to keep a closed guard but Edawards is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Edawards seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #T1# The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Edawards's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Edawards tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Daller defends well and Edawards ends up having to push Daller into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Edawards takes one to the chin there.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Daller enables Edawards to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Daller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Edawards on the ground.#SUB2# Edawards drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Edawards as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Daller screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Edawards! Nice submission victory there!
