Loose changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#TD2# Gillroyy gets a takedown into half guard. Gillroyy looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gillroyy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB2# Gillroyy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Loose sees it coming and defends easily. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gillroyy lands a nice short elbow. Gillroyy scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Loose is trying to get back to full guard. Loose knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gillroyy on the ground. Gillroyy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gillroyy drops an elbow to the side of Loose's head. #ROC2#Loose is rocked! Woods dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Woods lands a nice shot to the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Woods has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Woods blocks a body shot from Loose. #TD2# Woods pulls guard. Loose is fighting to break Woods's control of his arms but Woods is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've been hearing that Loose has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Loose knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woods on the ground. Loose wants to control from the top but Woods keeps moving. Loose is looking to work some ground and pound but Woods has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Meno scores with a one two! Loose had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Meno fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Loose on the side of the head. Meno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Meno. Loose does a little dance to reset his feet. Meno lands the left hand.#ROC#Loose is rocked! We've been told by Meno's head coaches at Thunder Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Meno throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Loose let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Loose is still on wobbly legs! Can Meno finish him? Loose gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Loose tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Meno is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Loose buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Loose!! Loose is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Meno throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Loose is working for takedown but Yamamoto is calmly controlling the position for now. Loose takes an elbow to the temple. Yamamoto prevents the takedown attempt.

#R1# Manchester avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Manchester tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nice takedown defense from Loose. No joy for Manchester on that attempt. #TD# Loose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Loose is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loose lands a couple of digs. Manchester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loose. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. #R1##TD2# Silk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Silk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Silk misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Loose is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Silk is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Silk landing punches. Silk lands with some strikes. Loose wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Silk.
Silk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Loose looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Loose can't escape the position.

Loose fails to land with a series of punches.
