and Backpack counters with a crisp one two that drops Shredder! Backpack thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shredder to his feet! Shredder is in big trouble!#ROC#Shredder is rocked!
Backpack lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Shredder crumples to the floor! Backpack milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Backpack thuds a left hand into Illir's body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Illir has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Backpack connects with a good right hand that stumbles Illir. Illir circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#TD2#
Illir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Backpack napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Illir is working to tighten his grip on Backpack's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Backpack has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Illir is really squeezing tight and eventually Backpack passes out! Illir breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Backpack is looking for a sweep. Illir is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Illir uses his free foot to push down on Backpack's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Backpack.

Illir is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Backpack can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
