Minoko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Salad works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Minoko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Minoko prevents Salad from getting back to his feet. Minoko wants to control from the top but Salad keeps moving. Salad is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Minoko is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Minoko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Salad is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#TD# Salad shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Minoko can't hide his disappointment, as Salad celebrates the victory.

Borisov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Minoko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Borisov is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Borisov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T1# Borisov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Borisov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Minoko's guard. #R1# Minoko shoots for a takedown but Borisov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Minoko. Borisov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#TD2# Minoko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Borisov sprawls well initially but Minoko persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Minoko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Borisov keeps working. Borisov controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Borisov is refusing to be controlled, as Minoko sits in half guard. Borisov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Borisov tries to get out of the position. Minoko thows a huge punch but Borisov dodges it nicely.

Minoko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Skabetti circles away. Minoko with a lazy takedown attempt and Skabetti cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Minoko misses with a takedown attempt and Skabetti counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Minoko thinking. Skabetti looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Metbal Skabetti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Minoko. Minoko misses with a takedown attempt and Skabetti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC#Minoko is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Takashi Minoko has been cut. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Skabetti has cracked Minoko with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Minoko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Romero tries to avoid it but Minoko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Romero to the ground. Romero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Minoko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Romero throws out the jab. Minoko moves forwards but Romero connects with a nice, crisp jab. Minoko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Choi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Minoko is working away from the top position though. Duffy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Duffy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duffy walks away with a smile on his face. Minoko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Minoko circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Minoko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Minoko has a takedown stuffed. Duffy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. No joy there for Duffy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Duffy tries to get set, Minoko tries to push him back and clinch up but Duffy manages to avoid the attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#KD2# Duffy lands a left and a right that send Minoko crashing to the mat, dazed. Duffy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#Minoko is rocked! Duffy steps in with a hook that catches Minoko right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Duffy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Minoko looks absolutely devastated.

Minoko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Minoko slaps away a takedown attempt from Periera, before circling back to the center of the mat. Minoko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Periera. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Periera. That's going to take a lot out of him. Minoko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Periera swivels and escapes. Periera shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Minoko fails with a takedown attempt. Minoko with a poor takedown and Periera counters with a good low kick that Minoko was not able to check. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Periera throws a sloppy head kick and Minoko moves out of range easily. Periera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Minoko tries to counter with a clinch but Periera shakes him off and moves away.
