and Coles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sting Ray Flawless Skill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Coles counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Coles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Coles jabs Flawless Skill to the body, keeping him at a distance.#KD2#
Coles cracks Flawless Skill with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Coles has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Flawless Skill to stand back up!#ROC2#Flawless Skill is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Flawless Skill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flawless Skill is breathing heavily.
Coles lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Flawless Skill up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Coles from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Flawless Skill's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

In his post fight interview, Phillip Coles started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |
