Counter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Counter blocks it well.
A punch lands to the side of Silva 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Counter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva tries to clinch but Counter moves away
and Counter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Counter scores with a jab. Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Silva walks into a left hand.
A punch combination from Counter misses. #TD#
Counter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Counter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Counter is putting a hurting on Silva here, landing some big shots from side control.
Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Counter off and has taken his back!

Silva has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Counter is defending well but eventually Silva manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Counter has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
