Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Garak wants to clinch up but Kentas keeps it at a distance. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dew shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garak as he avoids it easily. Dew stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dew wants it to stay on the feet. Dew fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Garak looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've been hearing reports that Garak has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Garak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Belyaev doesn't succeed with the takedown and Garak counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Elim Garak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Belyaev. Garak slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Belyaev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Garak.
