We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Arnolds has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hopson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arnolds walks away with a smile on his face. Hopson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hopson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arnolds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hopson somewhat.
Arnolds now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hopson.
