#R1# A shot to the liver by Atkins. Beautiful body shot. Rashid Atkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Atkins misses the shot to the body. Choo Two lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.#TD# Atkins shoots in and gets a takedown into Choo Two's guard. Choo Two can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Atkins controls the pace.#SUB2# Choo Two looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Atkins passes into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choo Two tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Atkins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #T1##SUB# Atkins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. and Choo Two takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Choo Two throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Maurelli to counter with a crisp jab. Maurelli throws a right hand that misses
and Choo Two counters with a lovely straight right hand! Choo Two takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Choo Two lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Maurelli backs up against the cage.
