#R1# Hopson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barnaby. Hopson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hopson there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice defenses there by Hopson. A looping hook to the body misses from Barnaby. Hopson does a little dance to reset his feet. Hopson feinted with a counter takedown. Barnaby throws a looping overhand right but Hopson ducks down to avoid it. A big left from Barnaby misses. Barnaby pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hopson appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Hopson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnaby.#TD# Hopson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barnaby was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Barnaby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hopson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hopson lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnaby trying to keep a closed guard but Hopson is proving a slippery customer.

Barnaby controls Hopson momentarily but Hopson frees himself. Hopson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Barnaby felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hopson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Barnaby can't hide his disappointment, as Hopson celebrates the victory.
