#R1# Lett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doe.#TD# Lett shoots in and gets a takedown into Doe's guard.#SUB# Lett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lett stands and throws Doe's legs to the side, diving into side control. Doe gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! #SUB# Lett has control of Doe's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Doe regains control of the situation pretty easily.
#SUB# Lett looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB# Lett is working for a guillotine from mount but Doe frees his head quite easily.
#SUB# Lett swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

After the fight, David Lett was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
