#R1##TD# Banton dives in and scores a takedown into Nekongo's guard.#SU# Banton stands up and waves to Nekongo to follow him. Banton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nekongo swivels and escapes.#CL# Banton closes the distance and clinches.#TD# Banton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #SUB# Nekongo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nekongo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Banton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Banton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Banton sitting in guard here, content to control. Nekongo wants to sweep but no luck. #T1# Banton wants to pass the guard but Nekongo is keeping the position.#SU# Banton gets to his feet - Nekongo follows without any prompting. Banton throws a series of punches but Nekongo moves out of range. #TD# Banton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nekongo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Banton controlling the position from side mount. #T2##SUB# Banton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Banton in side control, just content to control the action for now. Banton advances to full mount. #T3# Banton unloading with bombs! Banton throwing strikes here but Nekongo is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Banton cracks Nekongo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#SUB# Banton looking for a guillotine from mount but Nekongo is having none of it. Banton controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4##SU# Banton stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Nekongo with a nice cross. Nekongo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nekongo wants to clinch. Banton needs to keep his hands up - Nekongo had a free shot at his head there.#CL# Banton clinches up with Nekongo and pushes him back against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Martino Banton dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2# Banton throws a head kick that misses. Martino Banton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#TD# Banton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Banton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Banton passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Nekongo! Banton scoring with strikes but Nekongo is staying in there. Nekongo is desperately trying to improve his position but Banton has a good base and remains in mount. Banton controlling his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Banton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nekongo can do to turn this around? Banton lands a big elbow. #T1# Banton controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Further stalling from Banton.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. BOOM! Banton connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Banton unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Nekongo wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Banton celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

#R1# Banton goes for a double leg but Doom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Doom continues to drive forward. Doom misses the jab.#TD2# Banton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Banton tries to stand but Doom is controlling his head. Doom gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Doom moves into full guard.
Banton won't allow Doom to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doom seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SUB# Doom looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Doom tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T1##SUB# Doom is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Banton frees his head nicely. Oh but Doom has switched to an armbar! Banton is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
