Avallone avoids the body shot from Ilmarinen.
Ilmarinen slips under a jab.
Avallone tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ilmarinen is able to avoid easily.
Avallone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ilmarinen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Avallone is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ilmarinen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ilmarinen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Avallone's hands.
Avallone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Avallone lands the left hand.
Avallone misses with a right hand

and Ilmarinen counters with a big left hand that crumples Avallone! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Avallone is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garlind can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garlind tries to reverse the position but Avallone maintains control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.#T3#

Avallone is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Garlind is defending well though. Avallone let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Garlind right now.

Avallone has one arm under Garlind 's neck. Garlind is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Avallone manages to get his arm free though and Garlind is in a world of trouble! Avallone sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Garlind turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as No Neck checks a leg kick.
Avallone misses with an uppercut

and No Neck counters by moving into the clinch.
No Neck wants to break the clinch but can't.
No Neck has a couple of punches blocked by Avallone.
No Neck fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
No Neck blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Avallone looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A nice left hand lands by No Neck.
No Neck blocking some punches.
No Neck blocks an uppercut.
No Neck lands a left hand that snaps the head of Avallone backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, No Neck creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
No Neck tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Avallone avoids it.
Avallone keeps control of No Neck as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
