Kenard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hale definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#CL2# Kenard instigates a clinch. Kenard is trying to break the clinch but Hale has him pressed against the cage. Hale lands a shot to the body. Hale throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kenards head. Kenard is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hale is defending well. Hale working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. #R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kenard is defended easily by Lekobe. Lekobe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lekobe shoots in looking for a takedown. Kenard tries to sprawl out of it but Lekobe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kenard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kenard misses with a jab, cross combination.

#R1# Kenard darts in looking for a takedown but Hayes gets double underhooks and turns Kenard into the cage. Kenard doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Hayes counter with a right hand. Kenard misses with a takedown attempt and Hayes counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Darius Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Kenard. Kenard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hayes counters with a nice uppercut. Hayes stuffs the takedown attempt from Kenard. Kenard gets slowly back to his feet. Hayes is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hayes takes a kick to the side of the head. Kenard with a lazy takedown attempt and Hayes counters with a left and a right that stings Kenard. Kenard looks winded!
