#R1# Li fails in his attempt to clinch. Cole throws a sloppy head kick and Li moves out of range easily. Cole avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Li tries to clinch up#TD2# and Cole counters with a nice double leg into side control. Li won't be happy with that. Cole scoring with punches from side control. Cole controlling from side mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li tries to bench press Cole off him but Cole keeps the position. Li is working hard here to advance position.#T1##SUB2# Cole is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Li is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Li is trying to work for a sweep but Cole has mounted him! Cole lands a big elbow. Li working to try and regain half guard.
#SUB2# Cole has hold of Li's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Li manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cole landing strikes from the mount. Cole controlling from mount. Li tries to lock up and control but Cole gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#T2# Li is in a horrible position here. Cole smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Li tries to control Cole's body but Cole pushes him off. Li squirms to his side and now Cole has his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cole has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Li. #SUB2# Li is trying to defend against the choke here but Cole has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Cole Tightens the hold and Li taps out furiously! Cole displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
