Belyaev doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling River to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Belyaev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belyaev shoots in but River avoids the takedown attempt easily. Belyaev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.#TD# Belyaev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
