Evans covers up and Kawai unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Evans looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dijakovic unleashes a big counter combination but Evans bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Dijakovic lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Evans cracks Dijakovic with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Dijakovic tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Evans pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Dijakovic is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darell Evans!
