Very Wacky 2 - Final
Date: Nov 28, 2022 |
#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Wieland keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Soest wants to clinch up but Wieland keeps it at a distance.#CL2# Wieland pushes Van Soest up against the cage in a clinch.#T1# The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Van Soest takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Wieland stalling against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wieland - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Van Soest stalling against the cage.
Van Soest stalls. Van Soest seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Stalling in the clinch from Van Soest.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wieland controlling the action here for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Randy Wieland comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wieland has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge James Glass scores the fight 9:10 Judge Steven Brown scores the fight 9:10 Judge Andrew Berry scores the fight 9:10
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Randy Wieland! During a confident post fight interview, Randy Wieland thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. |
