#R1# En misses with a jab to the body
and Venom counters with a lovely shot to the body. Elit En seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. En doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.#KD2# Venom staggers En with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! En looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!#CUT2#It looks like Elit En has been cut. A head kick by En misses letting Venom counter with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! En throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Venom counters with a right hand to the body. En is breathing heavily. Venom scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. En doesn't seem bothered though. En leaves his chin hanging out and Venom seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! En crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

#R1# En takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
#KD2# En ducks into a a hook from Jackson and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue! A punch combination from Jackson misses. En lands a leg kick that knocks Jackson off balance momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but En moves out of range and avoids them all easily. En wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A left and a right from En both land. Nice combination. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
En tries to counter by clinching up but Jackson breaks away and moves out of range. Jackson scores with a nice right hand.
En tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson unleashes a big counter combination but En bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Jackson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. En misses with a series of wild punches.
En avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jackson closes the distance and catches En with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! En is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and En is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! En is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Jackson takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Franko Jackson! A relieved looking Franko Jackson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
