and Van Soest counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Raven fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Raven takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Raven scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Raven misses. Van Soest was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. #R1# Van Soest takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Van Soest looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Van Soest throws out a loose jab but Chang uses good head movement to avoid it. Chang leaves Van Soest with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chang throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Van Soest attempts a counter takedown but Chang avoids it well and moves away. Chang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Van Soest tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knightley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Soest somewhat. Knightley seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#TD2# Van Soest manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Knightley on his heels.
