#R1##TD# Twist shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kamoze is trying to defend but Twist finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kamoze can do anything to dispel that myth. Kamoze is trying to control but Twist passes into side control!
Twist lands some shots froms side control. Twist content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kamoze is trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Twist controlling the position. Twist seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kamoze for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Kamoze is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Twist is looking to take a break and control but Kamoze is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ground and pound from Twist seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kamoze is looking for a sweep. Twist landing a few strikes. Kamoze tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Twist wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #T2# Kamoze takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Twist is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kamoze will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Kamoze defending against the ground and pound. Kamoze is trying to escape the position but Twist is controlling the position. Kamoze is trying to control Twist's posture but Twist avoids it. Twist creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Kamoze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Twist. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Twist is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Kamoze taking a bit of punishment here - Twist scoring with strikes. #T3# Twist cracks Kamoze with a big elbow. Twist in the domination position with Kamoze hanging on. Twist misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Twist working the body and head with strikes. Twist grinds an elbow into Kamoze's temple. #T4# Twist lands a few punches from side control.#CUT#It looks like Cyril Kamoze has been cut. Twist has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd goes nuts as Twist knocks Kamoze out cold with a massive hammerfist! Twist Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
