Berzebal trying to control the position but instead, Murayama has worked for underhooks and has pushed Berzebal into the cage.#TD# Berzebal decides to pull guard. Berzebal doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Murayama trying to control the position from guard on top but Berzebal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Murayama has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kaer Morhen. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Murayama slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Berzebal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murayama is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Berzebal wants to stand but Murayama is controlling the position. #T1# Berzebal looking for a sweep. Berzebal wants to control but Murayama is keeping him busy. Murayama is trying to control Berzebal's posture but Berzebal avoids it. And that is the end of the round. That was a close round but I would say that Makana Berzebal will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Makana Berzebal's cut. That's the end of the round. #CL# Berzebal closes the distance and clinches. I was talking to Berzebal's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Murayama. A bit of stalling here from Murayama.

Berzebal doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Berzebal takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Berzebal throws a big counter combination but Murayama scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Murayama pivots, looking for a leg kick but Berzebal is out of range and Murayama settles back down. Berzebal avoids a kick to the body.
Berzebal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A combination from Murayama does no damage. Berzebal was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Murayama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Berzebal won't allow Murayama to sweep him here. Murayama cracks a nice hook into De Kaap's ribs. William De Kaap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murayama works the jab nicely. Murayama lands a lovely overhand right. De Kaap tries to clinch up but Murayama circles away and keeps his distance. Murayama looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.#CL# Murayama pushes De Kaap up against the cage in a clinch. De Kaap throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Murayamas head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Kaap throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Murayama blocks it with crossed arms. De Kaap tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. De Kaap wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Murayama throws a perfectly timed hook that sends De Kaap crashing down! De Kaap tries to stagger back to his feet but Murayama just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused De Kaap asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

#R1# Murayama fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bonacorzi on the side of the head. Murayama works over Bonacorzi's head and body with a nice combination.#CUT#It looks like Arturo Bonacorzi has been cut.#TD2# Bonacorzi scores with a takedown into Murayama's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Murayama manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murayama dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Bonacorzi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Murayama walks away with a smile on his face. Bonacorzi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bonacorzi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murayama as he jumps to the side. Bonacorzi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Murayama. That one must have hurt. A thudding body kick lands there by Murayama!

He's out on his feet! Murayama lands another huge swinging hook and Bonacorzi tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bonacorzi, before Murayama can land any more shots!
