#R1##CL# Shayworth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Shayworth goes for a takedown attempt but Hunt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hunt slaps away a takedown attempt from Shayworth, before circling back to the center of the mat.#TD2# Hunt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hunt lands in his opponent's guard. Hunt controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #SUB# Shayworth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shayworth being controlled here, momentarily. #T1# Hunt passes easily into side control. Nice work. You can see the frustration on Shayworth's face as Hunt controls the position. Let's hope that Hunt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Shayworth can't do much from the bottom here. Hunt moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hunt working the ground and pound from side control. A lull in the action here. Hunt tries to advance to mount but can't. Shayworth trying his best to control but Hunt has mounted him. Hunt controlling the position easily from mount. #T3# We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Hunt. Hunt with the ground and pound from mount. Hunt controlling from the full mount. #T4# Hunt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Hunt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hunt dominated that round. That's time! Shayworth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Shayworth has his takedown stuffed#CL2# and Hunt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. #TD2# Hunt pulls guard effortlessly. Hunt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Shayworth being controlled here momentarily. Shayworth pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shayworth's guard. #REVB# Hunt is pushing down on Shayworth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shayworth is fighting to maintain full guard but Hunt has managed to sneak the leg through.#T1# Hunt stalling. Hunt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shayworth knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hunt in particular looking to stall. Hunt frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shayworth tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hunt with shots to the head and body - Shayworth looks very uncomfortable down there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#T2# Hunt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hunt lands a big shot there that rocks Shayworth but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hunt cracks Shayworth with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Shayworth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hunt postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Shayworth badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hunt around the waist but Hunt pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hunt is the winner by TKO! Hunt jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
