Smith Scantling is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nessen's half guard.
Smith Scantling seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nessen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Holben misses with a jab, cross combination.
It looked like Smith Scantling was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Smith Scantling tries to clinch but Holben is having none of it.
Holben is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Smith Scantling gets tackled into the cage by Holben. Holben maintains the clinch.
Holben misses with a hook to the ribs.
Holben scores with a nice hook to the head.
Holben looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Holben swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Holben dances in with a quick combination. Smith Scantling is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Holben snaps Smith Scantling's head back. Smith Scantling stumbles backwards against the cage. Holben steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Smith Scantling's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Smith Scantling just didn't come prepared.
