#R1# Shigekiyo tries for a takedown but Ham circles away easily and Ham counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Ham slips a jab from Shigekiyo. Shigekiyo swings widly with a right hand
and Ham counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shigekiyo's knee momentarily. Shigekiyo misses with a right hand and Ham counters with a leg kick. Ham lands a front kick. Shigekiyo throws an off balance right hand
and Ham counters with a good low kick that Shigekiyo was not able to check. Shigekiyo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Nice takedown defense from Ham. No joy for Shigekiyo on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ham looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
#CL2# Shigekiyo takes the fight into the clinch. Ham goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
#BC# Ham breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#T1# Ham throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ham steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shigekiyo. Ham looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Ham defending well as Shigekiyo loads up on a big left hand. Shigekiyo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ham counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Ham looks at the referee who does nothing so Ham lands a crushing right that sends Shigekiyo to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

#R1# Shigekiyo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spazz closes the distance and clinches up with Shigekiyo, looking for a takedown. Spazz pushes Shigekiyo against the cage but Shigekiyo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Shigekiyo with the counter takedown but Spazz avoids it easily. Shigekiyo scores with a jab to the body. Spazz misses with a takedown #TD2# and Shigekiyo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spazz's guard. Shigekiyo trying to control but Spazz is working from the bottom. Shigekiyo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shigekiyo postures up.
Shigekiyo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Shigekiyo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spazz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Spazz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shigekiyo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Spazz pushes a forearm under Shigekiyo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Shigekiyo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
