#R1# Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Ishikari swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Ishikari takes the fight into the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Johnson throws an elbow but misses. Johnson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ishikari blocks it with crossed arms. Ishikari blocks the elbow strike.
#TD2# Ishikari wants the takedown. Johnson is fighting it off but Ishikari persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Johnson's guard against the cage. Ishikari's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ishikari scoring with some ground and pound. Ishikari connects with a couple of short punches. Ishikari throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Ishikari is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ishikari not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #SU2# Ishikari decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #T1# Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Andre Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson throws a big shot that misses. Ishikari feints the counter takedown.#TD2# Ishikari looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ishikari is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ishikari's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Ishikari has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T2# Ishikari throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ishikari in particular looking to stall. Ishikari works his way into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Ishikari scoring with punches from side control. Ishikari happy to just control the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3##SUB2# Ishikari in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Johnson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
