#R1# Tartulho stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. #CL# Jones moves into the clinch. Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tartulho has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Tartulho jumps guard but Jones stands there with Tartulho around his waist. Tartulho gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Tartulho shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chicken Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Tartulho with a flurry of punches that miss. Tartulho stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position. It looks like Tartulho might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T1# Tartulho is continuing to stall. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Tartulho is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jones wants to pass to mount but Tartulho is defending the position. Tartulho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tartulho is looking to regain full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tartulho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tartulho doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Tartulho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T3##SUB# Jones drops back looking for a leg! Tartulho is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tartulho manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Tartulho's guard. #SUB2# Tartulho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chicken Jones will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!#R2# Tartulho drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tartulho defends well and Jones ends up having to push Tartulho into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#BC# Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tartulho looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Tartulho throws a leg kick that misses. Jones half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tartulho can do to turn this around? Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tartulho under the eye.#TD# Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tartulho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB# Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tartulho knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB# Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #T1# Tartulho tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tartulho gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tartulho works his way to full guard. Good work. Tartulho trying to control the position here. Tartulho wants to sweep but no luck. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#SUB2# Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tartulho to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tartulho pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Jones connects with a body shot.#CL# Rebelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rebelo is defending well. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rebelo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Joaquim Rebelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Jones. Rebelo is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him.#BC2# Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rebelo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
#CL# Rebelo gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is trying to drag Rebelo to the mat but Rebelo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rebelo wants to break the clinch but can't.

#T1# Rebelo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
No joy there for Rebelo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#CL# Rebelo gets a clinch. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rebelo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rebelo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Rebelo counters with a right hand to the body. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rebelo sprawls well. Rebelo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Rebelo scores with a hook.#CL# Rebelo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rebelo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.

Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rebelo swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Rebelo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones looks winded! Rebelo misses with an attempted mid kick.

#CL# Rebelo moves into the clinch. Jones tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rebelo avoids it. Jones tries to pull guard but Rebelo holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Jones has Rebelo pressed against the cage, preventing Rebelo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rebelo walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rebelo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#CL# Rebelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rebelo walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL# Rebelo takes the fight into the clinch. Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. #T4##TD# Rebelo decides to pull guard. Jones stands and throws Rebelo's legs to the side, diving into side control. #SUB2# Jones has hold of Rebelo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rebelo seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rebelo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rebelo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!
