#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD# Island bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Island sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Waters is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Island controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Island advances nicely into full mount. Island thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Island postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Waters looks a forlorn figure.

#R1##TD2# Island shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Island is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Island stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Island sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Johnson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Island trying to control the position but Johnson is working away. Johnson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Island scoring with punches from side control. Johnson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Island has just dragged him back down to the mat. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Island on the ground. Island wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Island drags him back down. Island looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Island scoring with punches and elbows. Island is putting a hurting on Johnson here, landing some big shots from side control. Island lands a few punches from side control. #R1# Bruce scores with a hook.#CL# Bruce clinches up with Island and pushes him back against the cage. Bruce slowing the pace effectively. A nice left hand lands by Bruce.
Bruce is struggling to control the position. Island wants a takedown.
Bruce is pushing Island up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bruce just leaning against Island, taking a breather. Bruce gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Bruce tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Island's elbow. Good body shot from Bruce.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bruce creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short left from Bruce. Bruce holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Jack Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mini Island. A short right from Bruce. A shot in the inside from Bruce. Bruce is pressed up against the cage. Island has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bruce down to the mat. Bruce avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Island fails with the takedown#CL# and Bruce counters by moving into the clinch. Island drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Island tries to clinch up but Bruce pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Island to the mat! Island covers up and Bruce unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1##TD# Panzerotti gets caught napping as Island dives in and scores a takedown. Panzerotti manages to retain guard.#SUB2# Island stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Panzerotti has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Island manages to get his head free but now Panzerotti has transitioned to an armbar! Island grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Panzerotti! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
