Sardino lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

#R1# Jcool shoots for a takedown but Sardino saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#TD2# Jcool gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sardino controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sardino looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#T1# Sardino's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL2# Sardino clinches. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sardino obliges.#TD2# Sardino turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. More stalling from Sardino.#T2# Jcool has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Jcool manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sardino is taking a breather. Jcool says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#T3# Let's hope that Sardino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sardino connects with a solid leg kick. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jcool has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sardino. Sardino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jcool eats them both and turns towards Sardino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jcool fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jcool leaves Sardino with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nice body kick there by Sardino. Sardino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdul Jcool. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Sardino shoots in for a takedown! #R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Sardino or perhaps it was just good defense by Hanson, which made it look bad. Hanson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Sardino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hanson's waist but Hanson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sardino off to one side. #TD# Sardino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hanson is trying to buck Sardino off. Sardino throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Sardino is looking to take a break and control but Hanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sardino scoring with punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Hanson's face as Sardino controls the position. #T1# Sardino postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hanson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sardino. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sardino working the ground and pound. Sardino cracks Hanson with an elbow. That is naaassty. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Sardino has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Sardino throws a strike aimed at the side of Hanson's head but Hanson avoids it well. Sardino moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Sardino scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hanson to see if he's OK.#T2# An elbow from Sardino crashes against the mat.
Sardino is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hanson's shoulder. That is not cool. This is a sustained period of stalling by Sardino.#SU# Sardino decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T3# Sardino scores with a push kick. Sardino definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#TD# Sardino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hanson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sardino controlling from the full mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sardino cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Sardino is firing away with more strikes - Hanson is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

#R1# Hanson shoots and misses and Sardino counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hanson is breathing heavily.#KD2# Sardino feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hanson sprawling to the canvas! Hanson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sardino finish him?!

#R1# Riley closes the distance and clinches up with Sardino, looking for a takedown. Riley pushes Sardino against the cage but Sardino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Billy Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riley tries for a takedown but Sardino circles away easily and Sardino counters with a one-two to the body. Riley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sardino counters with a nice uppercut. Livver Sardino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Riley. Riley has a takedown stuffed. Sardino is looking to counter punch. Riley shoots for a takedown but Sardino saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Riley misses with a takedown and Sardino counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Riley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sardino but Sardino pushes him off and we're back to square one. Riley with a poor takedown and Riley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Riley looks winded! Riley misses with a takedown and Sardino makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
