Anguissa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. White stuffs the takedown attempt from Anguissa. Anguissa gets slowly back to his feet. White is looking to counter punch. Anguissa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from White on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.#TD2# White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anguissa to score an easy takedown into full guard. White seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anguissa trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Anguissa distracts White with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#T1# Anguissa wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. White seems keen to control Anguissa's posture. White keeping moving, preventing Anguissa from controlling successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Anguissa throws a big elbow that misses. Anguissa postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it. White performing his best blanket impression for a moment. White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A looping hook to the body misses from Anguissa. White does a little dance to reset his feet. Anguissa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily. It looked like White was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Reginald White will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.#R3# Anguissa lands a jab to White's midsection. Anguissa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but White defends well and Anguissa ends up having to push White into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. White was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.#TD2# Anguissa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. White wants to sweep but no luck. Anguissa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. White wants to control but Anguissa is keeping him busy. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A cross from Anguissa lands. Anguissa misses the body punch and White counters with a straight right hand.#T4# Anguissa lands a nice shot to the body.
Anguissa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Anguissa lands a nice hook to White's body. White takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Anguissa throws a jab when White was well out of range.#TD2# Anguissa gets a double leg takedown into White's guard. Anguissa throws a strike but White rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. And that's the end of the fight! Tanguy Anguissa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anguissa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
