#R1# Test shoots in for a takedown but Neto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Test throws a nice looking combination but Neto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Neto shoots in but Test avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice body punch from Neto. Neto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. As Neto backs off Test throws a huge counter combo but Neto manages to avoid it all.#TD# Neto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Test keeping moving, preventing Neto from controlling successfully. Test has control of Neto's left arm, preventing Neto from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neto stops Test from standing up. Test trying to control the position here. #SUB2# Test has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #T1# Test doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Neto throws an elbow that misses. Test uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Neto's guard. Nice move by Test!#REVB# Test postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SUB# Neto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Test is aware though and is defending well. Test sitting in guard here, content to control. Neto is trying to control the position but Test postures up. Neto striking off his back but it's not causing Test any problems. #SUB# Test avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Test has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Test engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T2##SUB# Neto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Test gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Neto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Test can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Test sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomas Neto. I think Neto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tomas Neto! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Kyran keeps the fight on the outside.#CL2# Neto instigates a clinch. #TD# Kyran turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kyran manages to end up in side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Kyran (4) vs (0) Neto The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neto tries to bench press Kyran off him but Kyran keeps the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Neto tries to buck Kyran off but Kyran is having none of it. Kyran happy to just control the position for now. Kyran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB# Kyran wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Neto, who protects the arm well. Neto is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kyran off and has taken his back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Kyran (4) vs (4) Neto We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neto has the hooks in. Kyran is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. #SUB2# Neto looking for the choke from the back. #SUB2# Kyran fending off the submission attempt from Neto. Neto controlling well, preventing Kyran from escaping the position.

Neto tries to roll over but Kyran keeps him under control. Kyran content to control rather than advance. #T2# Kyran seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Neto for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kyran wants to pass to mount but Neto is defending the position. Kyran slows the pace down in half guard. Neto wants to control but Kyran is keeping busy and won't allow it. #T3# Kyran sitting and controlling from the half guard. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Neto. Score +3 for passing guard: Kyran (9) vs (4) Neto The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kyran controlling from the full mount. Neto tries to hold on but Kyran pushes him away. Kyran takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T4# Neto has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Neto looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. #SUB# Kyran has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kyran trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Neto doesn't escape. #T5##SUB# Kyran working for the choke. Kyran really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Neto. Kyran continues to stall. Neto manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kyran's guard. Nice work there by Neto.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Neto tries to hold on but Kyran postures up.
