#R1# McCoy with a poor takedown enabling Guerrero to counter with a crisp jab. Guerrero fails in his attempt to clinch. McCoy has a takedown stuffed. McCoy shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eion McCoy. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCoy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McCoy fails with a takedown attempt. Guerrero wants to counter with a clinch but McCoy pushes him away. McCoy looks to score with a jab to the body but Guerrero is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCoy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Guerrero has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#CL2# Guerrero moves into range and clinches up with McCoy.#BC2# Guerrero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McCoy shoots in and drives through. Guerrero sprawls well. Despite the aggression on Guerrero's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#T1##TD2# Guerrero decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McCoy has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Guerrero is on him like a limpet, forcing McCoy back against the cage. McCoy slows down the pace here.

McCoy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

#T2# McCoy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Guerrero gets underhooks to prevent McCoy's takedown attempt.
#BC# McCoy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Guerrero doesn't manage to clinch there - McCoy circles away.
#TD2# Guerrero fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McCoy to the ground. Guerrero is now in McCoy's guard.#SUB# McCoy has his foot on Guerrero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guerrero works his way back into a safe position though.#SU2# Guerrero gets to his feet. McCoy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! McCoy wants to clinch. McCoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Guerrero. Guerrero gets slowly back to his feet. #T3##TD2# Guerrero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McCoy is looking to get back to his feet here but Guerrero is keeping cool and he's managed to take McCoy's back. McCoy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guerrero on the ground. McCoy trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. McCoy is trying to break free.
Can McCoy hold on?! Guerrero is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Guerrero has the hooks in. McCoy is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. #T4# Guerrero is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Guerrero wants to control but McCoy is keeping busy.#SUB2# McCoy tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Guerrero has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! McCoy is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
