Prole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Peshernek circles away quickly and effectively.

McGrew with a lazy takedown attempt

McGrew controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Prole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGrew on the ground.
Prole is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McGrew is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGrew wants to pass the guard but Prole is keeping the position.#SUB2#
McGrew drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGrew jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #T1#

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laird won't allow Prole to get back to his feet.

Laird thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Laird wants to control from the top but Prole keeps moving. #SUB2#
Laird drops back looking for a leg! Prole is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Prole manages to kick Laird off! Laird jumps back into Prole's guard.
