Those never looked like landing. Johnson attempts a counter takedown but Hampton avoids it well and moves away.#CL# Johnson clinches up with Hampton and pushes him back against the cage.#TD# Johnson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hampton is trying to maintain the position but Johnson is very close to passing his half guard. Johnson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hampton is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Hampton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1# Johnson content just to control the position here. Hampton wants to try and get back to his feet. Johnson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hampton and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Johnson slips an arm under Hampton chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Johnson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Johnson is squeezing on Hampton like an anaconda would it's prey. Hampton fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
