#R1# Schneider throws a body shot but no joy. It looked like King wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Schneider tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Schneider. Schneider slips a jab and a cross from King.
Schneider is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schneider. King is looking to counter punch. King connects with a jab. King lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Schneider misses. We've been told by King's head coaches at Ironopolis that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. #R1# Schneider looks to land a right hand but Orochi moved out of range. Orochi throws a nice inside leg kick. Orochi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Orochi ducks right into an uppercut from Schneider. Orochi lands a head kick!
Orochi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.#CL# Orochi gets in close and instigates a clinch. Schneider cracks Orochi with a nice body shot. Orochi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Schneider jumps guard but Orochi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A shot in the inside from Schneider. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schneider scores with a shot to the side of Orochi's head. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schneider tries to bench press Yajaw off him but Yajaw keeps the position. Schneider regains half guard.
