Edwards trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
Edwards distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Edwards has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lee uses from the top position.

Nate Edwards decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |

Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Edwards pinned against the cage. Edwards gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Edwards tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Davis manages to circle out of the way.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nate Edwards will probably get the nod.

Jack Davis opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |
