#R1##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Cichero enables Grappler to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cichero manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Grappler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Grappler trying to control but Cichero is working from the bottom. Cichero working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Grappler. Cichero tries to land a sweep but no joy. #SUB# Cichero is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cichero is on top in guard.
#REVR# Cichero works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cichero trying to pass the guard but Grappler defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cichero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grappler has his hands clasped together around Cichero's back. He's all about the action. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Grappler. #SUB# Cichero moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Grappler's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cichero keeping moving, preventing Grappler from controlling successfully. Grappler pushing down on Cichero's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. #T3# Grappler is nestled in close to Cichero, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cichero on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Cichero is looking to improve his position.
Cichero is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grappler's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grappler's back! Cichero is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Grappler's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Grappler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cichero looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. That was a close round but I would say that Alejandro Cichero will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!#R2##TD2# Grappler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cichero is looking to reverse the position. Grappler is putting a hurting on Cichero here, landing some big shots from side control. Grappler cracks Cichero with a big right hand but Cichero just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cichero is staying active underneath Grappler, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Grappler lands a big shot. Grappler postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Cichero covers up, he's hurt! Grappler keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Grappler and the ref steps in to end the fight! Grappler can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

#R1##TD2# Grappler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've been hearing good reports from Maica's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Maica is breathing heavily. Grappler throws a big elbow that misses. Grappler scoring with some ground and pound. Grappler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Maica wants to sweep but no luck. Grappler lands a couple of elbows. Grappler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Grappler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T1# Grappler throwing strikes from guard but Maica blocks nicely. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Maica throws the left hand but Grappler avoids the punch easily.#TD2# Grappler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maica looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Maica wants to get back to his feet but Grappler is dominant here and he's now got Maica's back! Grappler lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Grappler.
Grappler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Grappler slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Maica is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Grappler.

#R1##TD2# Grappler drives through with a takedown into guard. Arango is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Grappler dives into side control.
Grappler prevents Arango from escaping the position. Arango bucks up and tries to throw Grappler off but instead Grappler has got his back! What can Arango do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Arango wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grappler is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Arango trying to get back to his feet but Grappler is in full control for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Arango covers up after that shot from Grappler.
Grappler is punishing Arango with strikes - can he finish him?! Grappler has Arango flattened out and is raining down punches. Grappler throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Arango!
#ROC2#Arango is rocked! Arango trying to get back to his feet but Grappler is in full control for now. Oh Arango is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Arango seems to have got his legs back now. Oooh a big shot gets through from Grappler. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Arango is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #T2# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Grappler is punishing Arango with some ground and pound. Grappler is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Grappler gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Grappler gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Grappler apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Arango throws a nice looking combination but Grappler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Arango is breathing heavily.#CL# Arango closes the distance and pushes Grappler back into the cage. Arango tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Grappler is trying to drag Arango to the mat but Arango just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Arango is trying to push Grappler away but Grappler has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Arango misses with a hook to the ribs.

Arango gets through Grappler's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD2# Grappler is trying to trip Arango. He has hold of a leg but Arango is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Grappler persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Arango is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Grappler dives into side control.
Arango is working to avoid the ground and pound but Grappler connects with a decent elbow. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#T3# Arango is looking to get back to his feet here but Grappler is keeping cool and he's managed to take Arango's back. Grappler is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Grappler lands with a hammerfist to the side of Arango's head. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Grappler lands a good shot there. Arango covers up! Grappler smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Arango to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Grappler jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oliveira tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Grappler manages to move to mount!

Grappler keeps the fight on the outside.#CL2# Daxton takes the fight into the clinch. #TD# Grappler gets control of Daxton's arms and successfully pulls guard. Grappler will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Grappler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Daxton passes Grappler's left leg - he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daxton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grappler moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Grappler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Daxton controls the pace.#T1# Grappler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Grappler wants to stand and escape but Daxton is having none of it. Daxton preventing the sweep. Daxton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Grappler tries to free his leg and advance position but Daxton is retaining full guard. #SUB2# Grappler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daxton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grappler has managed to get both his arms back between Daxton's legs - danger averted. Grappler looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Daxton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grappler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #T4##SUB2# Daxton working for a triangle but Grappler defends it easily.
Grappler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daxton on the ground. Grappler wants to get up but he can't break Daxton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #SUB2# Daxton looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Grappler is defending well. Daxton quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grappler has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Daxton celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

McCoy tries to clinch but Grappler is having none of it. A combination from Grappler does no damage. McCoy tries to clinch but Grappler moves out of range. #CL2# McCoy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. McCoy is trying to pull guard but Grappler turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#TD2# McCoy gets control of Grappler's arms and successfully pulls guard. McCoy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Grappler stands up over McCoy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #SUB2# McCoy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Grappler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McCoy wants to control but Grappler passes easily into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# McCoy has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Grappler. Oh but McCoy has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Grappler goes limp - he's gone! McCoy jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
