The referee asks White politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. White prefers to stall for the moment though. White throwing strikes but missing, from side control. #SUB2# White tries for a kimura but Hale is defending well. Hale is trying to escape and get back to his feet. White postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White working away. White trying to control the action but Hale is working from the bottom. White working away.#T1# White is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hale's shoulder. That is not cool. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White with a lazy takedown attempt and Hale cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nice uppercut lands for Hale. That snapped White's head back.

My spies in Julians Sports Bar & Gym inform me that White has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Mickey seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Mickey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. White trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. #R1# Ferreira lands with a straight right. White didn't see that one coming. Ferreira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ferreira wants it to stay on the feet. Ferreira seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ferreira clobbers White with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ferreira cracks White with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. White finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Ferreira's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and White falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

White throwing strikes here but Winslow is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
