Grigorev shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Grigorev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD#
Grigorev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Black has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Black working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Black controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grigorev has momentary wrist control but Black slips an elbow through the middle.

Grigorev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Black keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Grigorev's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Black not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Black loads up on a big left hand. Grigorev felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Black looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Grigorev can't hide his disappointment, as Black celebrates the victory.

After the fight, Damien Black was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
